It is the Summer Solstice today, the day when the magic blows throughout the breeze, fairies dance in circles, jump the fires and Midsummer's sun rains blessings down. I know to see it in the trees... On this beautiful day, I am announcing you a giveaway. :)

It is about this set of jewelries, created from glass silvery beads and mountain crystals looking like water drops. The set`s name is "Fairy Falls", I created it a few months ago, I uploaded it to my Moonstone Shop but then took it out because I liked it too much and did not wanted to sell it anymore. But on this magical day, I decided to give it away after all. For free, with love and solstice blessings!

Summers days holds me softly and warmly. The season when I look at the sky and conjure rain... The season when I dance under the heavy raindrops when no one is looking... when I seek the shadow of the woods and dance in circles with the fairies, under the moonlight, jumping the fires of the Midsummer...

It took me a little while to come up with some new jewelries, but finally, here they are, most of all inspired by summer. For some time now, I had many pendants shapes in my head, but I did not have enough free time to try to make them all real. However, from now on, I decided that my work will be most of all based on creating beautiful and magical pendants from clay. Of course, I will still take special orders, just like before, so... if you have something in your mind and want me to try making it real, feel free to contact me.

"Summer morning in the forest" is a beautiful necklace in warm-summer-ish shades, like those of the the sun who raises through the branches of the trees, warmly touching the green grass and the tiny little flowers and wild fruits from the forest`s floor.

The other days, one of the fairies handed me an old page from a book, with a picture of a beautiful fairy. "She was my grandmother", whispered the fairy, "she used to dance under every full moon between those oaks there, and charmed every knight who passed through this forest".

A while ago, I received a special order from a friend, to create a set of jewelries, for a wedding. I created 3 sets, so my client was able to choose the one she liked mostly. This is one of the 2 remaining sets. Quite sophisticated, in soft shades of pink and bronze, this set formed by a necklace and cameo earrings will surely make you look like the queen of the fairies.

"Algiz" is a magical amulet, created in a night with new moon, with that specific rune sculpted on it.

Algiz illustrates both the antlers of the elk, and the shape of the sedge-grass herb. To some it suggests the spread fingers of a hand raised in a protective gesture. I am slipping through the peripheral streets, leaving the town behind and entering the forest. The day is peacefull and warm rain drops on my skin, fresh air moves the trees singing a soft lullaby, while the Earth whispears of renewal and spreads the wonderfully sweet fragance of Spring. The sight is enough to make me chant, to the four winds, the inner harmony!

The beginning of the bloom and the beautiful spring fairies have deeply inspired me, so I created some new jewelries. Enjoy discovering them in this post and, the rest, in the archive.

"Spring flower" is a very charming set (pendant + ring) in light nuances of early spring. I was thinking at the lovely primula flowers when I modelated the design in clay. The ring has universal size, it can be easily adjusted. ♥

(I offered this set to a dear friend of mine, as she totally loved it!.)

January was particularly creative it seems... My walks in the snow, in these dark days, with the sun barely seen brought inspiration and creative energy to my spirit and I felt I must take advantage of my free moments to create new things. So here I come with 6 new sets of jewelry, this time mostly made from stones and crystals received from the fairies. "Moonstone" set (necklace, bracelet & earrings) does not need to many comments, the beauty of this stones (my favourite!) speaks for itself. The yellow-ish shades are NOT caused by the background, they are the natural nuances of this semi-precious stones traversed by a source of light.

Moonstones are considered the ancestors of the opals.

They help to soothe and balance the emotions. Moonstone represents the great Mother Goddess. Her strength lies in her gentleness, and her ability to experience, process, and balance feelings. Feminine by spirit, a stone of wishes, intuition, and equilibrium. ♥

"A gift from a forest fairy" is a set which comes from the iele`s jewelriy-boxes, hidden inside the trees. The `iele` are the most capricious but also the most ethereally beautiful forest fairies, who dance `hora` in the romanian forests, under the moonlight. The place where they had danced would after remain carbonized, with the grass incapable of growing on the trodden ground, and with the leaves of the surrounding trees scorched. Later, when grass would finally grow, it would have a red or dark-green colour, the animals would not eat it, but instead mushrooms would thrive on it. If a man ever dares to watch the beautiful ones while they dance, they are punishing him with magical spells, after they previously caused him to fall into sleep with the sounds and the vertigo of the frenetic `hora`, which they hallucinatingly dance around their victim, who is abducted, to disappear forever without a trace.
